Nodes & Layers

This is an overview of the applications provided by Ricardo's company, Nodes & Layers.

Ingest App​

The Ingest App is for bringing plates into our system. It's dynamic and has a wide array of settings seen here:

Options

To find this window to set your ingest profiles, open the Flow PTR desktop environment for your show. If it isn't there, either your global folder or show config have not been set up properly.

App

The app is actually used inside of Nuke Assist and can be accessed via the Flow PTR drop down.

Ingest

The app presents you with option to select what you want to call the pull, and then what kind of [Ingest Profile] (/docs/supervisor/ingest_profiles) you want to use.

Finally, the app will present a list of the paths automatched for the shot.

Last

Export App​

The Export App is for taking rendered EXRs and making various flavors for clients.

It can be found in the Flow PTR Desktop applications menu:

For this app, you just select the playlist and flavor you need. The flavors are based on Export Profiles.

Nuke Transcoder Deadline Plugin​

The Nuke Transcoder Deadline Plugin is built for deadline to bootstrap functionality from Flow Production Tracking. It is mostly Python and is available on Basket here: P:\Admin\developer\NodesLayers

It needs to exist here in our deadline repository: L:\deadline\custom\plugins\NukeTranscoder
