📄️ Part 1: Preparing a Project
Creating Show Alias and Slack channels
📄️ Part 2: Ingest
1. Prior to ingesting the assets, the coordinator must update the shot status in Flow Production Tracking to AWA (Awaiting Assignment) for the selected shots that are ready to be assigned to an artist. Once the supervisor assigns the shot to an artist, that shot becomes active (actv) and the assets are then ready to be ingested.
📄️ Part 3: Run of Show
Throughout the development of the project, coordinators are responsible for the following:
📄️ Part 4: Export Media
Once the artist has completed their work and the assets are ready to be sent to client, the coordinator must package all internally-approved items into a playlist within Flow Production Tracking. This ensures that everything is organized and ready for delivery.
📄️ Part 5: Manage Notes
Another crucial part of the Coordinator's workflow is managing client feedback and notes. Within the Spreadsheet initially sent to client, there is a Notes Back tab where the client provides feedback for each shot. To automize the organization process, the coordinator can use the baked-tools available under the Extensions tab.
📄️ Submit for Breakdown
Approaching breakdowns in this way allows for the pairing of published files with shots assigned as breakdown shots - so someone else down the line can be assigned the task of a breakdown.
📄️ Statuses
Below is a breakdown of shot, task, and version statuses that are available in Flow.
📄️ Archiving
This topic will discuss how to archive a project after it has been finaled and ready to be wrapped up.
📄️ External Assets Workflow
Assets must be treated separately from the shot workflow when preparing a project. However, the concept is similar.
